An e-mail from my neighbor (name of soldier has been changed to protect identity)...
"Did you know a US Soldier stationed/based in Italy can't get medical coverage in the states? Kind of ironic, huh! [Steven] is home and has a knee injury. He is covered with health insurance thru Tri-care thru the Army However, it is only good in Europe! Go figure. Guess he can't get sick while he is home!"
How does this make sense? Aren't we proud to be Americans.

I always marvel when I learn things like this. This is how we thank the men and women who give their lives for our freedom? Amazing!
