Bekah's 2nd Birthday Party
We celebrated Bekah's birthday with just a small family gathering at my sister's house. Every gift but one followed the Dora theme, that one was our family book for her. She wouldn't put the book down. She would come over, plop on my lap and try to read it to me. (No, I didn't rate her fluency or make her reread for meaning.) We also brought a homemade cake shaped as Dora that a friend of mine from high school made for her. Her face was priceless when she saw it.

I LOVE the Dora cake! Thank you for sharing Bekah's book with me. she will treasure it for a long time. Those are always the best gifts...from the heart.
