Capsulation Day

Today was the day... Capsulation Day! The capsule was packed for burial, placed in a plastic container, and sealed with a stinky sealing agent. The selected students were more than ready when I went to pull them out of class this afternoon to head out.

The looks on their faces when they walked into the new school for the first time were priceless. We explained where everything was in the building, but we were not allowed to take them around for a tour. Then after posing for a few pictures with the capsule, it took less than thirty seconds for the two boys to wedge the box with the capsule between the beams and into the wall.

After the capsule was dropped in, the principal looked at me and said with a smile, "That's it!" How right she was. That's it. The rest is up to history.
